Welcome to the farm!
We are Country Thyme Farm, located just west of Bowden, Alberta. We run our 40-acre farm with ethical, compassionate practices keeping the long-term health of our family, plants, animal and land in mind. Good soil, beyond organic practices, grass and naturally fed and raised animals are the best way to nourish the body and the land.
We run our farm as Community Shared Agriculture (“CSA”). We strive to sell our farm goods directly to those looking for fresh, local and naturally grown foods. By pre-selling these shares of the harvest in the farm, we have your guaranteed support and you are signed up for the freshest food that we grew and raised just for you and deliver directly to your community.

We offer:
Grain shares: The shares include wheat and rye. We aim to grow/provide more wheat since that has more day-to-day use. The wheat is a heritage wheat called Red Fife.
Poultry Egg Shares: Offering heritage and pasture-ranged chicken and duck.
Vegetable Shares: Includes over 30 different kinds of vegetables and herbs. Grown naturally and delivered weekly in the summer.
You can also find us at select farmers markets in Central Alberta.
